I remember sitting at the edge my bed with my 3 brothers as my father read it countless times. This story is a holistic version. In this fairy tale, no one is harmed. No pigs are eaten and the wolf does not get fatally boiled in a pot of water on the fireplace. The printed original story dates back to the 1840's, but the tale is thought to be much older.
